“When advocating for mental health, we must employ creative, visionary and strong leadership in order to ensure respect for families, support for their inclusion and meaningful engagement.”
Amy MacFarlane, Family Caregivers Unite!
For individuals with mental illness, recreation can reduce stress, anxiety and depression. Engaging in meaningful activity is critical for sense of role, worth and purpose. Our team can help identify and remove barriers that might otherwise exist, so that an individual can contribute to their own positive and active lives and redirect from negative behaviours and lifestyle choices.
Our mental health support includes various approaches and direct 1:1 support for children, youth and adults, on an hourly basis and can be used to assist at home or in the community.
