Every one of our therapeutic recreation group programs have been carefully developed by our Recreation Therapists to consider the needs, abilities, strength and interest of our participants.  Groups run for those who are Ages 4-21+.

Town of Newmarket, Children’s Treatment Network and Recreational Respite offers: Lifestyle Recreation 
We have created a two part, very unique range of therapeutic recreation programs for our teens! These programs run 90 minutes of programmed sessions including: Art, Music, Literacy, Movement and Exercise, Wellness, Interactive Games, Technology and more. The second half offers a Cooking Club, in which our group cooks lunch and dines together. The program is run by our Recreation Therapist to address a number of skill builders which includes: safety, peer to peer support, stress management, focus, decision making, concentration, social awareness and mind/body connect, and of course FUN! This Lifestyle Skills program offers a number of opportunities for personal growth, connectivity and engagement with others.  Each week offering a different theme. *Available to individuals with developmental disability or Autism*
